restoring wellbeing through
Events
Fundraising for Contact can be an exciting, rewarding and enjoyable way to raise money for our vital work across Northern Ireland
Here are some ideas to get you started;
• Tried and Tested Ways
Try bag packing, pub quiz, car washing or running a back yard or cake sale. These methods of fundraising are easy to organise, fun to do and can contribute significantly to the work of the charity.
• Fundraising in School
Encouraging your friends and teachers to have a one off fundraising day for Contact, such as wearing a certain colour or having a named theme day. Try a “donate a coin to contact” day or run a special sports tournament for our work. Whatever you want to do download our fundraising tips or contact the fundraising team on: 028 90744499
• Other Ideas
Run a music night, a cooking event or a sports tournament. Involve your friends and family for an enjoyable experience
• Challenge Yourself and Your Friends
Many people like to challenge themselves to raise money for charity, either in extreme ways such as parachuting, sky diving or abseiling, or hiking across the desert. Others like to fundraise through sponsored runs, marathons, walks, cycles, fun runs or children’s toddles. Whatever way you chose contact the fundraising team on 028 90744 499 or email Fiona.Molloy@contactni.com for support and advice or download our leaflet for tips for running an event.
