restoring wellbeing through contact

Leaving a legacy or gift in your will

Below is information on how you can leave a legacy or gift in your will.

This is one of the most valuable ways you can contribute to the vital work of Contact.  Leaving a Will, takes care of your family’s welfare and provides an opportunity to consider leaving a lasting gift to support the work of our charity. Your gift can help change the lives of the many people we help each year in our work.

·         A Residual bequest is what is left of your estate once taxes, gifts or debts have been finalised. This is the most effective way to divide your estate, as inflation can erode the value of your gift over time.

·         A Pecuniary bequest is a defined and specific sum of money which you might wish to leave.

·         A Specific bequest: If you wish to leave, property or jewellery or similar.

Gifts left in a Will to charity are free from Inheritance tax. Please contact a solicitor for advice. If you have already made a will, you can add to or change it at any time.
